JOB TITLE: Head of Learning & Teaching
JOB LOCATION: Ikotun Egbe, LagosEmployment Type: Full Time / PermanentStart Date: September 2022

Key Responsibilities

Planning events to promote the school and its programs, such as dances or fundraisers
Interviewing candidates for teaching positions and making hiring decisions based on the candidates’ qualifications and cultural fit with the school community
Assisting with the implementation of new policies at the school and communicating with parents about any changes
Overseeing the overall operation of the school, including hiring staff and overseeing their work performance
Providing academic support to students who are struggling in a particular subject area.
Reviewing student progress and evaluating teacher performance on an ongoing basis to ensure that all students are receiving a quality education
Ensuring that the school is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations
Developing curriculum and lesson plans that meet federal, state, and local standards for education
Evaluating the effectiveness of teachers and other school staff in order to identify training needs and recommend appropriate disciplinary action

Requirements

B.Sc., B.Ed / HND in related field
6 -10 years relevant experience
MBA / MSc is an added advantage
State-specific teacher certification
A principal certification
Some type of Administrator certification
